USDC Issuer Circle hires JPMorgan, Citi to be made public at the end of April: Fortune

Circle Internet Financial, the USDC Stablecoin issuer, has hired the investment banks JPMorgan Chase and Citi as subscribers of an expected opi, Fortune reported.

While time has not yet been fully decided, the sources say that Circle will publicly present its prospect at the end of April, which means a possible extepal to the slope perhaps before June.

The company had previously submitted confidential paperwork before the United States Stock Exchange and Securities Commission (SEC) in January 2024.

Circle in 2021 had tried to make public through a Spac fusion in 2021, but that attempt was first derailed by an uncompromising sec and then because of the 2022 cryptographic collapse. He finally achieved the SPAC agreement at the end of 2022.

According to people familiar with the matter that spoke with Fortune, Circle is looking for an assessment of $ 4 billion to $ 5 billion.

COINDESK reported in July that the company was valued at approximately $ 5 billion in private secondary markets.
