The Pakistan batter, Usman Khan, after suffering an injury in the hamstrings was discarded from the second ODI against New Zealand, said the Cricket Board of Pakistan (PCB) in a statement on Sunday.
The 29 -year -old opening batter was injured while deploying during his team’s first hatred against New Zealand at McLean Park in Napier on Friday.
The magnetic resonance exploration confirmed a low -grade break, which makes usman not available for the second hate scheduled on April 2 at Seddon Park in Hamilton, according to the statement.
The Pakistan team is in New Zealand for a three-game ODI series that the Kiwis lead 1-0. After facing Wednesday for the second game, the parties will meet for the last hate on Saturday, April 5 at the Bay Oval.
Pakistan was chasing a formidable objective of 345 in the first hate and the team began with confidence with the debutante Usman Khan and Abdullah Shafique forging an opening position of 83 races. Both batters adopted an aggressive approach, establishing a solid base.
However, the progress occurred on day 13 when Nathan Smith fired USman for 39.
