UU., China congratulates Pakistan on Independence Day


While Pakistan marks his independence day today, the United States and China extended congratulations, with the ties of Islamabad-Washington that show a renewed diplomatic and economic impulse.

The Secretary of State of the United States, Marco Rubio, went to X to congratulate the people of Pakistan and expressed his appreciation for Islamabad’s commitment to the counterterrorism and commerce.

He reiterated the intention of US President Donald Trump to explore “new areas of economic cooperation in critical minerals and hydrocarbons” between the two countries.

“We hope to explore new areas of economic cooperation, including critical minerals and hydrocarbons, and foster dynamic trade associations that will promote a prosperous future for Americans and Pakistani,” Rubio said.

His comments come amid the improvement of ties between Islamabad and Washington.
