- The Steam de Valve client has just received numerous corrections and user interface additions in a new update
- The additions of the user interface include a text scale, a high contrast and customary arts mode
- Fans are resorting to social networks to praise the CEO of Valve, Gabe Newell
Valve continues the growth of its PC game pitcher, Steam, not only through updates for its Operating System, benefiting Steam Deck and other PC users for hand games, but also for Steam customer in its entirety with a new expected update.
As reported by our good friends in Gamesradar+, Valve has launched an Steam client update that sees significant changes in its user interface (UI) through new accessibility and customization options, along with multiple corrections that you can find in the patch notes.
Users now have access to a UI scale to adjust the text to small or large sizes, a high contrast mode for better text clarity against a darker background, a reduced movement configuration and a new customization tab to change the cover and the logo of each game.
The latter technically has already been available through a right click on the bottom cover of a game, but Valve has struggled to expand this with a dedicated tab.
For hand players like me, it is very similar to a puff pastry supplement for Steamos users, known as SteamgriddB (available through GitHub, which allows users to replace predetermined covers with a large number of others, but this new update pressured by Valve requires a manual change through personal downloaded files.
Users have already taken Reddit to sing praise for the CEO of Valve, Gabe Newell, and that is not a surprise considering that the good Grace Newell and Valve have won from the fans, and more and more, since the dawn of the steam cover.
Analysis: The steam customer on desktop computers and steam on hand computers continues to improve more and more
Without a doubt, Steamos is one of the best aspects of PC games, specifically for the steam deck and pc for hand games, and Valve continually shows that with numerous updates of the Steam client.
I am not going to enter why I do not like Windows 11 of Microsoft for the umpteenth time, but the simple fact is that (in multiple games), we are the best offer in terms of game performance, specifically in the hand game PC.
With tools such as Dicky Loader that allow the community to introduce excellent complements to improve the general experience, the growth of Steamos in terms of popularity is quite fast and it is great to see that Valve is trying to improve its steam client with user interface updates such as this for all PC players and not only for steam users.
I am very curious to see how much more Valve can add to the client, to differentiate it even more from other game pitchers such as Epic Games, and I am willing to bet that he will only improve from here.
