Vanessa Kirby has finally embraced motherhood.
The 37-year-old actress’ longtime partner, Paul Rabil, took to Instagram to announce the birth of their first child.
Rabil, a former professional lacrosse player, posted a series of photos that began with a snapshot of him holding his baby wrapped in a blanket close to his chest.
Another snap showed Kirby and his newborn son as the duo lay in bed together.
The post was accompanied by an emotional caption that read: “I’m learning that becoming a parent slows you down and wakes you up at the same time.”
“That I am truly grateful for everyone’s health, that I can wake up every day to mom’s enormous love and that now we can have you in our lives,” he added.
Referring to the last image of two miniature lacrosse sticks on the carousel, Rabil concluded the caption by writing: “For your first crib stick. It will contain many stories and blessings. Probably broken windows too. Balls are allowed in the house.”
She also posted the image of the lacrosse sticks with a white heart emoji on her Instagram Stories.
It is pertinent to mention that Kirby and Rabil made their relationship public in November 2023 after sparking dating rumors in 2022.
