Islamabad:
Senator Faisal Vawda has said that presenter Arshad Sharif was killed and that many “big people” will face trial if their case opens.
Speaking with the anchor of a private news channel on Tuesday, Vawda clarified that former Prime Minister Imran Khan was not involved in that murder, but “I knew something was going to happen.”
Vawda, who served as Federal Minister in the Imran Khan cabinet, asked why the former minister and leader of PTI Murad Saeed was hidden from the murder of Sharif.
He said Arshad Sharif was close to both the establishment and the PTI. “Several links will be revealed when the case is investigated,” he added.
The former PTI leader once again accused Imran Khan’s third wife, Bushra Bibi, for the difficult situation of PTI’s founder. He said the party used to organize protests and sitting even before 2018, the year Imran married Bushra, but then did not turn to violence.
He affirmed that the relationship between the establishment and Imran Khan began to become sour only after a former head of ISI, the head of the army staff, General Syed also Munir, presented evidence of Bushra and the corruption of his cohorts to Imran .
