It is almost the time to look up again. A new trailer for James Gunn’s Superman The film will be released very soon, and could not be more excited to see more than one of the new most anticipated films of this year.
As confirmed by Gunn on social networks (see below), the official trailer of the DC Universo (DCU) film will make its debut this Wednesday (May 14). The new teaser is expected to be shown during the presentation of Warner Bros Upfronts 2025 first before being launched online immediately after.
Despite the spoilers of history, there are many new images in which Gunn could make fun SupermanThe next trailer. According to the reports, the DCU chapter one film has an execution time of about two and a half hours, so we must receive many new shots for pores and theorize.
Before its launch, here are three things that I want to see, in addition to something that I think should be avoided in SupermanThe official trailer.
1. Speak
The first Gunn’s trailer Superman The film, which arrived last December, was full of great moments. However, apart from a couple of lines pronounced by David Korenswet, who plays Clark Kent/The headline Kryptonian, we do not hear any of the other members of the cast of the film speak.
SupermanThe next teaser should rectify this. Its initial lot of images was also trying to configure the tone and atmosphere that Gunn points to his latest functions film.
With that firmly established now, it is time for us to listen to what sounds like what Lex Luthor of Rachel Brosnahan sounds and sounds like they have not expected.
Update: Since this article was live, a 15 second teaser to SupermanThe next trailer contains a brief Hault Luthor clip. All he says is “super … man” but, hey, it’s something to help us until tomorrow!
2. Less superman, clearer Kent
Surprising anyone, the first Superman The advance of the advance largely comprised Clark Kent clips that perform superhero acts. We all want to see the homonymous hero do good, after all.
That said, some of the best stories of Superman, literary or other, have explored their civil life as well as their heroic acts. So, I would like to see the next round of images of the film that shows us more about Clark’s life outside his superhero feats.
The first advance suggested that Gunn will be tilted in that daily aspect of the character, including Clark’s daily work as a traveling reporter of the Daily Planet newspaper and will spend time at home with his adoptive human parents. However, it is not clear how much of his civil life will be examined in SupermanSo some new images of this would not look bad on their next trailer.
3. Justice for Justice League International
Before the launch of the first advance, we had seen how some of the fellow heroes of Supes would see in this movie. In fact, the leaked images of Mr. Fedatrific last June of Edi Gathegi were followed by snabela Merced’s Hawkgirl and Hal Jordan/Green Lantern of Nathan Fillion a week later.
SupermanHowever, the inaugural trailer was quite light to give us better looks at these characters and another to be overlapping in the metamorpho of Anthony Carrigan. In fact, apart from a couple of flashes and you will miss it, they were largely absent from said trailer.
With this quartet ready to play support roles, we are not sure how much will appear, yes, in SupermanIt would be good if the next trailer of the film showed more of them in action and/or talking with the man of steel. Certainly I hope there is some melodrama between this super-team and superiorly administered, so give us an idea of how, please, Mr. Gunn will see.
4. More Krypto
Season 1 Creatures commands It could have been the first DCU project that will be launched, but Superman It is positioning itself as the project that officially begins the DCU when this July is launched.
Gunn and Company are labeling the accumulation of the movie launch as ‘Summer of Superman’ too. But, although Krypton’s son is the leader of the film, it cannot be denied that he (and will probably continue to be) eclipsed by his bustling canine companion Krypto between now and the day of launch.
We have known that Krypto would appear in Superman Since the leaked images of the Mister Ferrific tracker appeared in July 2024. Krypto has won everyone’s hearts since then, with Kent’s most loyal friend stealing the program in the first trailer and last superman clip that revealed an amazing look at the strength of solitude.
Clearly, Krypto is one of SupermanThe most commercializable assets, so it makes sense to put it in front and the center of each and every one of the promotional materials before the release of the film. I hope, then, to see more of the rebel and overexcitable puppy when the trailer #2 falls online.
As I mentioned earlier, Superman Apparently you will register around 150 minutes when you fly in theaters in less than two months. Of course, his execution time could change from time to time, since Gunn is blocked in his final court, but we don’t worry about that at that time.
If one of the best superhero films (potentially, anyway) of 2025 is so long, its last trailer is a great opportunity to show us many new and spoiler full images. It is my hope, then, that the Trailer #2 does not contain any clip or previous sequences that we have seen in its predecessor or other marketing materials.
That said, I hope that one or two shots will be reused from the first trailer. It is a rarity that the new teasers are composed of completely new images that we have not seen before, but it would be a refreshing change if SupermanThe last trailer did not put the images of his ancestor again. You have many images at your disposal, Mr. Gunn, so use it!
