The gardener of the Seattle sailors, Victor Robles, threw his bat towards the mound in a heated incident during a smaller league baseball game while competing for the Tacoma Rainiers.
The incident occurred at the top of the third entry against the Aviators de Las Vegas in a game of the Pacific coast league. Joey Estes was on the mound for Las Vegas when he threw high and inside in Robles. The gardener swayed and seemed that the ball hit the bat can.

Robles tried to get out of the way, but it was in vain. Instead, he walked around the receiver, took his bat and threw it to these. Robles was immediately expelled from the game and was prevented from loading the mound.
The transmission showed Robles also throwing a water cooler from the bench to the field while continuing its collapse.

The aviators won the game, 12-7. Victor Labrada, who entered the game for Robles, finished 2 per 3 with three ranges.
Robles, who won a World Series title with Washington Nationals in 2019, signed with the sailors in the 2024 season after being released in the middle of the year. He played for Seattle in 10 games this season, hitting .273 with an OPS of .624.

I was with the Rainiers in a rehabilitation task after lost a significant time due to an injury. I was hitting .357 in Tacoma entering the game against aviators.
