
Victoria Beckham opened up about how she and her husband David Beckham approach parenting and mental health within their home.
According to a new report from the sunThe fashion designer revealed that she and David have made open communication a central part of raising their children, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.
The couple also shares eldest son Brooklyn, who they are reportedly estranged from.
“The way we have raised our children is based on communication. It is good to talk,” said the first. spice girl shared.
“As a family, we try to have dinner together every night. The phones don’t work and we’re like, ‘What’s everyone doing today?'”
“Just making sure it’s a safe forum for everyone to be honest, talk and laugh.”
Victoria went on to explain that she herself had previously received therapy and described it as a vital part of maintaining emotional well-being.
“Yes, I’ve had therapy. I think it’s very healthy. It’s something that’s very acceptable and positive to talk about now. I’m happy to say that I’ve had it.”
She also reflected on how filming her recent Netflix documentary of the same name was “like therapy” for her, admitting that it brought back “triggering” memories from her past.
The designer said she and David aim to provide a “safe” and supportive environment for their children to express their feelings and talk about mental health without fear of being judged.
