Comedian Nikki Glaser honored nominee Leonardo DiCaprio by recounting some of the most dazzling achievements of his career.
In his monologue, Glaser dropped the punchline: “The most impressive thing is that you were able to accomplish all this before your girlfriend turned 30,” a jab at DiCaprio, who is dating Italian model Vittoria Ceretti, 27.
When the prank backfired, Glaser expressed regret, but then shifted the blame to DiCaprio, suggesting that his public persona leaves little else to discuss.
“The most in-depth interview you’ve given was for Teen Beat magazine in 1991,” he said between retching.

Teyana Taylor’s tearful triumph
In the night’s surprise debut, Taylor took the best supporting actress trophy over Amy Madigan for her nuanced performance in One Battle After Another.
Taylor jumped out of her seat when the announcement came.
She then gave the best speech of the night, showing off the “party in the back” of her dress, before crying for her children and warning: “You better put your damn phones down and look at me right now.”
The first Globes Podcast category
The first Globes Podcast category: Before Snoop Dogg presented the award, Glaser parodied the category with a parody of Nicole Kidman’s infamous AMC ad, joking, “Speech feels good in a place like this.”
Amy Poehler took home the first trophy in the category for her podcast, good timeand joked in his acceptance speech, which netizens are talking about.
Admitting that she is naïve to the genre, she shared her “great respect” for the format and her fellow nominees.
Poehler joked, “I’m a big fan of all of you except NPR; just a bunch of celebrity phone-ins. Try harder.”
Kpop Demon Hunters historic victory
Social networks are also vibrating with the historic victory of the Kpop Demon Hunters.
“Golden” from Netflix KPop Demon Hunters won Best Original Song, becoming the first K-pop song to win in the category.
Teary-eyed singer-songwriter EJAE’s speech left social media users stunned.
EJAE, reflecting on how rejection pushed her forward, said, “I worked tirelessly for 10 years to fulfill a dream: to become a K-pop idol. And I was rejected. Now I’m here as a singer and songwriter.”
When Melissa and Kathryn show men some love
Ahead of a new milestone, Kathryn Hahn told co-host Melissa McCarthy that men would get their own acting category, and then joked about the extent to which men have fallen behind women in acting.
“Since men started acting in 2015, they have graced our screens with power and beauty,” Hahn joked, with McCarthy adding, “Men can play many roles. Husband! Ex-husband! Secretary! And everyone’s favorite: the nosy neighbor.”
Connor and Hudson’s First Gobles
Adding another rookie to the 2026 Globes, Heated rivalry stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams, who won Best Actress in a Drama Series, which made Storrie a little nervous.
“Just take a deep breath and imagine everyone in the audience… you know,” Williams calmly told her hyperventilating co-star, winking at the show’s infamous nudity. “I don’t think that would really work, considering everyone’s seen us… you know,” he replied.
Nikki’s Tribute to Rob Reiner
Glaser wrapped up the star-studded night at the 2026 Globes, honoring the late filmmaker Rob Reiner with a subtle tribute.
As he said goodbye, he wore a hat with the logo of his directorial debut in 1984. lumbar puncturein which he also played filmmaker Marty Di Bergi.
It was the only clue Reiner received during the ceremony, partly due to the lack of the memorial segment.
