Leaders, diplomats, parliamentarians, students and academics met in the Pakistan-China dialogue organized by the Pakistan-China Institute (PCI) under the auspices of ‘Friends of the Silk route’, focused on ‘Strengthen mutual understanding between Pakistan and China and build a community with a shared future for neighboring countries’.

Contenting the recent Israeli attacks on the Iranian territory, the senator described the attacks as a flagrant violation of international law and the UN letter, and rejected the narratives that promoted a “new cold war or the so -called threat of China.”

Ambassador Hu Zhaoming, spokesman for the International Department of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC), described Pakistan as “recorded in the deepest hearts of the Chinese people, adding,” China and Pakistan are like two sides of the same currency, you cannot choose one without the other. “
Highlighting the evolution of the BRI since 2013, the Hu Ambassador pointed out that more than 150 countries now participate in the initiative, which “uniquely promotes the internal development of China while promoting global connectivity.” He urged the youngest generations to “take the torch of friendship forward.”
Speaking for the Government of Pakistan, Dr. Shezra Mansab Ali Kharal, Minister of State for Climate Change, argued that the current world order is “visibly fragmented”, while China constantly advocates multipolarity, non -intervention and equality between states. “The BRI embodies this vision,” he said, “promoting a network of interdependent economies that choose dialogue on the conflict.”
The former Deputy Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, echoed the call to cooperative paradigms during what he called ‘a moment of flow where wars and rules explode collapse.
“The philosophy of President Xi Jinping of ‘Winning Cooperation and Mutual Respect,’ he said, offers ‘the most promising base for a future world order when dust sits’.
From the legal perspective, the lawyer Aqeel Malik, Minister of State for Law and Justice, emphasized that “security and stability are primary” for the success of CPEC.
He defended ‘soft power bridges’, such as expanded regional media, including Balochi language transmissions, to deepen people’s ties to people. Malik also proposed the inclusion of Afghanistan in CPEC, describing it as “a natural extension of the vision of the shared future.”
The event was also attended by students and academics from all provinces, who represent different universities, media, groups of experts, as well as representatives of Chinese companies working on CPEC projects.
Concrete proposals were discussed to jointly promote the ‘soft power’ of Pakistan-China, along with some upcoming events and conferences in this regard in China.
