- Great changes come to Watchos and Tvos
- Apparently they will coincide with the updates of iOS and Macos.
- Wait for an official presentation on June 9 at wwdc
Now we know that the World Developer Conference (WWDC) of Apple for 2025 will be launched on Monday, June 9, and now we have one more idea about software updates that will probably be announced at the showcase this year.
According to Mark Gurman in Bloomberg, Apple will introduce an important update of the interface for Watchos 12 and Tvos 19, as well as iOS 19 and Macos 16, which is partly inspired by the appearance of the visitor software in Apple Vision Pro.
While iOS 19 and Macos 16 are likely to attract more than the headlines, Gurman already told us in March that these operating systems were obtaining a review in terms of their design. Now Apple Watches and Apple TVS have been added to the list.
The new look for Apple software is apparently known internally as ‘Solarium’, referring to those glass rooms that allow a lot of sunlight, and it is said that it is “more elegant and more modern” in terms of its appearance than the current software.
A ‘widely felt’ review
We do not have much detail here, and Gurman has not provided screenshots of how the updates of the software interface could be, but it is fair to say that the Visionos platform has a clean and elegant appearance that works well.
Even if Apple Vision Pro has not been breaking exactly any sales record, its software is intuitive and easy to use, and apparently Apple is eager to extend the appearance in all its other devices during the rest of the year.
The company generally adheres to the same time every 12 months: a great presentation on WWDC, followed by several months of beta tests before the software is expelled to all (usually in September for iOS and Watchos).
“While iOS 7 in 2013 was the largest visual change for iPhone software, the last review will feel much more widely,” says Gurman. Of course, we will bring you all the great ads and news of WWDC, since it occurs next month.
