- AMD seems to return the coup against Nvidia in the middle of the speculation of a March launch for RTX 5060 TI and 5060
- The new Radeon RX 9000 series will be launched in early March
- It is rumored that there is a press conference for the new GPU alignment at the end of February
CES 2025 exhibited what to expect with respect to the GPUs of this generation, with Nvidia taking the focus of attention on the convention with its new RTX 5000 series (currently exhausted), and now, AMD is finally about to join the race later of the initial revelation of its new GPU.
As reported by Videcardz, the AMD CEO, Lisa Su, confirmed that the RADEON RX 9000 series will be launched in March after the alignment would do so, and a few days after the rumors of the RTX 5060 TI of NVIDIA and the potential 5060 launch began to circulate. The RDNA 4 architecture for the next GPU promises to improve the performance of the ray tracking while using the new FSR 4 function of the Team Red for greater stabilization of images by increasing.
Videocardz also recently broadcast AMD rumors that has a press conference from the RX 9070 series at the end of February, taking into account the activity of its main rival Nvidia, it is time for AMD to enter the image correctly and show us how its new alignment of graphics cards stack against Team Green. From what we have already seen, the RADEON RX 9070 XT does not seem to be a medium range GPU, supposedly providing a first level performance in Native 4K without using FSR.
Since Nvidia’s aggressive price for its Premium GPU could be a decisive factor for many, AMD has the opportunity to obtain an advantage in the GPU race with more affordable prices (especially if these initial performance results are precise).
Is this a reaction to speculation about NVIDIA RTX XX60 launch rumors?
While it is definitely possible that AMD has already planned the launch in March, as most reports suggested, this feels like an intelligent time of the network team. It is obvious that Nvidia is at the head with its ALGU alignment of the series of the series RTX 5000 (as it has been for a while), and the rumors of a class XX60 launch of class in March would directly rival the possible excess of AMD.
The end of this month feels like the ideal time to present the new Radeon RX GPU alignment, but there is also a great possibility that Nvidia ends up doing the same. We have only seen the RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 TI and 5070 (with the last release on a date currently not revealed at the end of this month), so it is only a matter of time before we see the RTX 5060 TI and 5060.
Personally, I hope that AMD’s new GPU can provide a solid alternative for players to NVIDIA cards, since the GPU market needs competition, if strong competition comes in the form of high level performance at generous prices, it could drive to some potential buyers of RTX that return their heads to reconsider. We will only have to wait and see which Red team has reserved for us …
