Captain America: Brave New World It is not just a coal copy of the history and themes that were explored in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

That is the verdict of Julius Onah and Nate Moore, who directed and produced Valiente Nuevo Mundo, respectively. In statements to Techradar before the release of the Marvel film this Friday (February 14), the duo responded to those who have compared Captain America 4 to the second installment of the films series. As expected, they do not agree that the first exit of Sam Wilson’s big screen, since the titular hero is a newly painted version of The Winter Soldier.

Comparisons between movies are expected. The couple is announced as action thrillers with more than their fair part of political paranoia, stars in the iconic shield limit and examine timely and real world issues, including misinformation and empathy for their neighbor.

Onah and Moore, however, reject the notion that the fourth captain of America is again staying. They argue that, with a new character assuming the titular mantle, Wilson by Anthony Mackie has replaced Steve Rogers of Chris Evans, and Valiente Nuevo MundoThe unique narration elements differentiate it from its three ancestors of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
