Former Prime Minister Imran Khan was allowed a second meeting with his wife, Bushra Bibi, within a span of two weeks. The meeting was held in the conference room of Adiala Jail and lasted 45 minutes. Imran and Bushra are detained in the same prison.
According to prison sources, the meeting took place on Tuesday.
The PTI founder was taken from his barracks to the conference room, while Bushra Bibi, who is detained in the women’s barracks, was also taken there. The meeting between husband and wife took place under the supervision of the prison police.
Sources said a similar meeting had also been organized last Tuesday as per court orders and jail manual rules. During the meeting, both inquired about each other’s well-being and had a conversation.
Prison sources further revealed that the prison administration also received some essential items from Bushra’s lawyer on Tuesday.
