It is already quite difficult to convince the players of the console to move to the PC due to prices, but the prices inflation of Team Green and the Team Red GPU has led this to a ridiculous level. While the price increase in the RADEON RX 9070 series remains absurd, inflation in the RTX 5000 series is the worst I have found.
If you even find an RTX 5090 or RTX 5080 in MSRP (much less one available), then you must be ready to deepen your pockets, and the same goes for the RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 TI cards.
You may be thinking of opting for a RTX 4000 series GPU instead, but the same problem is present there. Most GPU Ada Lovelace are exhausted since they have been discontinued, but the remaining in stock are also sold for MSRP previous. Ultimately, players have no choice but to pay, especially because we seem that we see an increasing number of poorly optimized PC games that require high -end GPU for an acceptable level of performance.
