I’m still recovering from last week’s episode of Spartacus: House of Ashur. In my opinion, episode 8 surprised us with the most brutal death on the Starz show yet, when Celadus (Dan Hamill) fell victim to the House of Proculus’ newly acquired gladiator.
It’s all a plot to prepare for Achillia’s (Tenika Davis) triumphant return to the arena, but now she has lost her love and her biggest cheerleader. Worse yet, Tarchon (Jordi Webber) decides to make her life even more difficult.

After the unexpected delay of episode 8, we hope to see a return to weekly programming from episode 9 onwards.
The final has now been postponed until February 6.
