Under current climatic conditions, the PMD forecasts a slight increase in the cold wave in the next two days, with the temperatures that are expected to decrease to about 10-12 ° C on Tuesdays and Wednesday night.
The temperature of Monday was recorded at 13.5 ° C. Currently, the winds are blowing at a speed of 7 kilometers per hour from the north, with moisture levels to 32%.
Meanwhile, the weather office has mainly predicted cold and dry climate in most parts of the country over the next 24 hours.
However, the rain is expected, together with the wind and the thunderstorms (and the snowfall on the highest mountain areas) in the isolated regions of Kashmir, the northeast of Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and the Alto Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In addition, the light to moderate fog is anticipated in Punjab northeast patches during the morning hours.
The PMD also pointed out that continental air currently prevails in much of the country. A western wave is expected to approach the western and superiors of the country later tonight.
