- WhatsApp has announced its last great round of updates
- Includes the ability to share movement / live photos in application
- There are also some new AI tools as personalized topics.
WhatsApp has announced a lot of updates for iOS and Android users that will make it much easier to share memories using the application, and also helps you remember what strangely called group chat you are looking for.
Starting with that first change (revealed in the publication of the WhatsApp blog), it will soon be possible to share live photos and movement photos (iOS and Android respectively) through WhatsApp.
These snapshots alternatives show their image as if it were a live life, a bit like a short GIF or video, and can help you better capture a moment of what you would do with a single shot or a quick clip alone.
If you are on Android, you also have access to the scan of documents so you can scan, cut, send and save documents directly from inside the WhatsApp application. This should be useful for your most formal chats, since it eliminates the need to use a completely different application to prepare a document first.
Do not worry about iPhone users, you are not missing. You should already have documents that scan on your device through WhatsApp. Just go to a chat, touch the icon ‘+’, choose the document, then touch the scan document.
What chat was again?
We have all been there. Its feed is filled with silly nicknames and titles of absurd group chat to the point that it is actually impossible to monitor what group it is for what is below all those layers.
An example of this is that my old group of colleagues from colleagues is called “Six, but in a French way”, it began as “House of Queensway” years ago.
Now, I remember this name of group chat, but if I didn’t, I would probably never find it excavating each group manually. Fortunately, WhatsApp is adding a new useful search tool, since now I am looking for the names of the people I know they are in the chat, the application will show me the group chats we share.
Once you have found your group chat of choice, you can take advantage of a couple of new updates of the courtesy of goal AI.
You can use the bot to help you generate your own personalized chat issues as part of the chat topics function.
In addition, when you call someone on video (individually or in a group call) you can get a unique background for you, whether you already love or somewhere new new. You can also use these funds in your snapshots and the videos you take within the WhatsApp application.
It is not the update more than changes the game, but it sounds like fun, so I go to Play Store at this time to make sure I have the latest version of WhatsApp installed.
Meta has not shared exactly when all these characteristics will be implemented (including live and movement photo support), but we have asked for an estimate and update this story when we receive an answer.
