The schedule for flight operation Hajj 2025 has been announced from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport.
The Hajj operation of the Jinnah International Airport will begin on April 29, 2025, with the serene air flight number 1611 that goes to Madina at 10:15 pm, transporting 285 pilgrims to the Holy Land.
Several other key flights have also been scheduled as part of the Hajj operation. The first flight of the Hajj de Airblue (PA1766) will leave on April 30, 2025 at 3:40 am, carrying 148 pilgrims.
The first flight of the Hajj de Saudi Airlines (flight number 3701) is scheduled to go to Madina on May 1, 2025 at 9:15 am with 365 pilgrims on board. Meanwhile, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will launch its first flight from the Hajj (PK-743) on May 2, 2025 at 5:55 am, with 393 pilgrims.
All initial flights will land at Madina airport, but as of May 14, 2025, most Hajj flights will leave for Jeddah airport, although some flights to Madina will still continue.
The Hajj deputy director stated that the direction of the Hajj in Karachi, together with the relevant institutions, is fully prepared to guarantee a respectful and without problems for pilgrims. The authorities undertake to provide all possible facilities to pilgrims.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has temporarily suspended the broadcast of short -term visas for citizens from 14 countries, including Pakistan, as of April 13, as part of the measures to administer travel flows before the Hajj season, according to Gulf News.
The prohibition applies to the visa of commercial and multiple entrance visits, e-tourists visas and family visit visas. The affected countries include India, Egypt, Pakistan, Yemen, Tunisia, Morocco, Jordan, Nigeria, Algeria, Indonesia, Iraq, Sudan, Bangladesh and Libya.
Travelers from these nations that already have valid visas in the short term can enter the kingdom until April 13, but must go no later than April 29.
