As EID celebrations approach Pakistan, both public and politicians are preparing to mark the cheerful joy of Eidul Fitr. This festive period is not only a religious observance, but also an opportunity for people throughout the country, including politicians, to meet with family and loved ones, hugging the spirit of unity and gratitude.
With the ongoing festivities, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will celebrate Eidul Fitr in Lahore, where he will perform EID prayers at Model Town, while former Punjab Prime Minister Hamza Shehbaz will also celebrate Eid in Lahore.
President Asif Ali Zardari will offer EID sentences in Nawabshah, while the president of the PPP, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, will pray in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, Larkana.
The president of the Senate Yousaf Raza Gillani will be in fine, the president of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, will be in Lahore, and Vice President Ghulam Mustafa Shah will offer his prayers in Nawabshah.
The leader of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will offer his EID prayers in his residence in Jati Umra, while Punjab Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz will also spend Eid on Jati Umra.
Sindh’s prime minister Murad Ali Shah will celebrate in Sehwan, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s prime minister Ali Amin Gandapur will mark the occasion in Dera Ismail Khan. Baluchistan’s prime minister, Sarfaraz Bugti, will observe EID prayers in Quetta.
Federal ministers will also extend throughout the country, with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, in Lahore, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif in Sialkot, and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in Lahore.
The president of the Punjab Assembly, Malik Mohammad Ahmed Khan, will hold EID in his ancestral town, Khai Hathar, located in the Kasur district.
The advisor of the Prime Minister on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, will spend Eid Day in Faisalabad, while the Minister of State of the Interior Talal Chaudhry will hold EID sentences in Faisalabad.
The Federal Minister of Planning and Development, Ahsan IQBAL, will hold the festival in Narowal, and the Federal Minister of Food Security, Rana Tanveer, will spend the day in Mureedke.
Among the leaders of the opposition, the president of the PTI, the lawyer Gohar Khan, will hold EID in Buner, while the opposition leader of the National Assembly, Omar Ayub, will pray in Haripur.
The Chief of Jui-F, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, will offer his prayers at Dera Ismail Khan, while the MQM call, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, will mark the occasion in Karachi.
