talking to PEOPLE Magazine In a recent conversation, Daddario established that he suspects Rachel never moved on.
Additionally, he believes the young writer likely remained married to Shane, played by Jake Lacy, and has likely followed a predictable path since then.
“In my opinion, she stayed with him. And what will that be like in four years? And did they have children? There are many directions they could go,” he said.
She added that thinking about Rachel still being tied to that relationship brings up mixed emotions.
“I think of her as a character, and it makes me sad to think that she’s still in the creative ether with him,” he said.
In the end, Daddario said he would leave any future stories to series creator Mike White.
“I’d be very curious to see what he thinks she’s doing.”
