More records from Toshakhana have emerged, with the Cabinet Division releasing details for the October-December 2025 quarter that include President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi among the recipients of valuable gifts. The news reported on Monday.
All the listed personalities deposited the gifts in Toshakhana, according to the file.
Recipients for the quarter also include First Lady, IT Minister Shaza Fatima, Energy Minister Awais Leghari, Economic Affairs Minister Ahad Cheema, National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, it added.
Similarly, Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi, President’s Military Secretary, President’s Spokesperson Murtaza Solangi, Auditor General of Pakistan, Minister of State for Railways and Finance Musarrat Zaidi, Minerals Director General Dr Nawaz Ahmed Virk, Economic Affairs Secretary, IT Secretary, President’s ADC and others also received gifts.
According to data from the Cabinet Division, the gifts received during the October-December quarter included models of Roza-e-Rasool, Khana Kaaba and Makkah Mukarramah, paintings, perfumes, shields, carpets, tea sets, swords, daggers, vases, watches, decorative pieces, Saudi coffee, books, royal caps, souvenirs, table clocks, a model of Metro Bus, coffee pots, shirts, musical instruments, blankets, scarves, ties and other items.
According to Cabinet Division documents, all recipients deposited their gifts in Toshakhana between October and December 2025. The Cabinet Division is in the process of assessing the value of the gifts received and related procedures are ongoing. The Cabinet Division list does not include names of those who gave gifts, while the list for the last half of the previous financial year (January-June 2025) did include names of local and foreign figures who gave gifts.
The Shehbaz government had gradually made Toshakhana records public from 2002 to September 2025, while records from 1997 to 2001 had also been made public.
