Karachi experienced an unexpected spell in several areas late at night, including Saddar, II Chundrigar Road and the area of the ancient city.
The fog remained during the night, but dissipated with the morning sunlight.
Meteorological analysts attribute the phenomenon to high levels of humidity and stagnant winds, which caused early reduced visibility in the morning.
The fog was particularly dense near the airport, where visibility was reduced to approximately 2.5 to 3 kilometers. However, as the sun came out, the fog was cleaned and visibility improved.
