The role of Kate Middleton in the life of Prince George will be different from that of her husband Prince William.
When George turned 12 on July 22, a new phase of his preparation for his future role as king of the United Kingdom has begun.
Real Historian Marlene Koenig has explained Kate’s role in George’s life, saying Us weekly, “She will never have a constitutional role, except as a regent in the worst case, if George becomes king before the age of 18.”
“She is there to be the loving and supportive mother in everything George does, because he is her son first of all,” Koenig said.
While Kate has learned real customs well, it will be William who will lead George’s preparation to be the future king.
“She and William came out for almost 10 years before her commitment was announced, which allowed her time and space to learn about her future life as a member of the royal family,” Koenig explained.
“Over time, as the wife of the throne heir and, finally, as Queen Consort. She is also the mother of a future king,” he said.
He added that it will be William, who will take charge of preparing George with “the knowledge and practice of his roles.”
Last month, the reports revealed that George will no longer travel on the same plane as his father for any trip.
Last month, former Charles pilot, Graham Laurie, confirmed in a Royal Right podcast that the same security protocol was also followed after William turned 12 years old.
Last month a new real protocol began after George turned 12, hinting that the next phase in his preparation for the throne had begun.
Koenig also said that George was part of the coronation of King Charles and that he was one of his grandfather’s trains.
“George is the first member of the Royal Family to have that role in the service,” Koenig said. “If the young prince was nervous, he didn’t show it.”
