Riley Gaines suggested Monday in a radio interview that was surprised by the public’s response to Simone Biles’ personal attack against her.
The Olympic Great launched Gaines with a publication that responded to the former NCAA swimmer who criticizes Minnesota’s softball officials for extinguishing the comments of a position that celebrates the victory of the state championship of a secondary school with a transgender player in the team.

Biles called Gaines “truly sick” among other things. But the reaction of social networks did not seem to support the gold medalist.
“To recognize how the public has changed to this, look at the comments section of Simone Biles, go to Instagram, go to Twitter, go to any article that is published, go to Tiktok and is being absolutely demolished to the point that I almost feel bad for her, as I really do,” Gaines said in “Clay & Buck.”
“I have read these comments, I am like, ‘Oh, my God’. I was prepared when I received that notification on my phone for that hate attack to come to me. That is not at all what is happening.

Gaines pointed out the recent transgender athlete series that won championships in girls sports throughout the country.
“Minnesota, California, Washington, Oregon and Maine, where children stole state places of classification, state championships or podium places of deserving girls and workers,” added the collaborator of Outkick. “So, the entire argument of ‘It really does not happen’, it cannot be kept at all when it continues to happen.
“But that is the classical progression. It never really happened, that was the first step. Then, slowly changes to, ok, well, it is happening, but it is not happening much, therefore, we should not worry ‘. Then it progresses to,’ ok, well, it is happening, and here it is why it is something good.
Gaines revealed the support of his position on transgender athletes in women’s sports and girls received in several comments sections during an episode of the “Gaines for Girls” podcast.
