King Charles III may have had a rather weak start to 2025, even though the New Year is only less than a week away.
According to Christmas Day television ratings Wallace and Gromit, The British monarch has been beaten while the nation tuned out his speech, according to new reports.
The blow that King Charles, 75, has faced comes amid several other ongoing family dramas he is facing in addition to managing his health after being diagnosed with prostate cancer in February 2024.
In 2020 came the hard blow of his youngest son, Prince Harry, and his daughter-in-law, Meghan Markle, announced her departure from royal duties, leaving behind life in the United Kingdom with her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Keeping an eye on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex isn’t the only thing King Charles would be busy with now that Prince Andrew’s infamous royal scandal made headlines.
As Andrew was accused of being a Chinese spy, former royal correspondent Jennie Bond called him a “pariah” within the royal family.
In a conversation with OK! Magazine, stated: “The King is a kind soul and Andrew is his brother. He would have liked to have been in the position of having to cancel his invitation or ban him from what promises to be a large family gathering.”
“It seems quite likely that Andrew sat down with Fergie, and possibly her daughters, to discuss the best solution,” Bond added.
“Fortunately, sensible ideas prevailed and he obviously realized that his presence at Sandringham would be an embarrassing distraction on a day that – this year of all years – should be all about the King and Catherine,” he concluded. which resulted in Prince Andrew skipping the royals’ official 2024 Christmas tradition at Sandringham.
