The number 1 of the world Jannik Sinner defeated the legend of tennis Novak Djokovic in runs, 6-3, 6-3, 6-4, Friday to advance to the Wimbledon final at the All England Club.
Sinner, 23, will face Carlos Alcaraz in the final on Sunday. The Wimbledon final is a revenge of the 2025 France Open, where Alcaraz defeated Sinner in a legendary game that was five sets.
Djokovic was hindered by an injury to groin during Friday’s game. The 24 -time Grand Slam winner suffered the injury in his victory in the quarterfinals over Flavio Cobolli.

The 38 -year -old canceled his practice session on Thursday due to the injury, and was evident throughout the game against Sinner that Djokovic did not move as well as he normally does.
At one point during the game, Djokovic requested a medical waiting time to receive treatment in injured groin.
Sinner had only 17 united errors compared to the 28 of Djokovic. Djokovic fought in his second service, winning only 17% of his second -service points.

Sinner and Alcaraz are the first two players to face the France Open and the Wimbledon finals in the same year since Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal did so in 2008. Nadal won Wimbledon and the France Open that year.
Alcaraz is the twice Wimbledon defender champion and is in his third consecutive final of Wimbledon, while Sinner appears in his first final in the grass court tournament.

Sinner has 4-8 in his career against Alcaraz and has lost his last five games against Spanish.
