- IT decision makers see update as an opportunity to obtain the last PC of AI
- Advanced security and promoted productivity are especially attractive
- 62% would now consider a PC of AI over a normal PC
New research on the preparation for Windows 11 PC and AI says that the moment could not be more perfect: the end of the life of Windows 10 has coincided with an increase in the PCs available in the market, which now makes the perfect time to update for two reasons.
Dell’s study found 80% of the United Kingdom companies that migrate or have already emigrated to Windows 11, they are seeing it as a strategic opportunity to adopt PC ready for AI instead of a simple update of the operating system.
Almost three quarters (71%) of IT decision makers agree that they have been presented with the opportunity to update the most powerful pc at the same time.
Windows 11 update is causing many to consider the PC AI
Almost half of the PCs of AI bring advanced security characteristics (47%) and greater employee productivity (44%), with about two thirds (64%) considering a hardware with critical capacity for future operations.
These additional security characteristics are also very necessary, with a similar number (46%) that quotes security violations such as the main driver to cool off PC fleets, more than the number of refreshing companies due to Windows 10 EOS (42%).
However, some factors continue to retain companies, and they are the same as we see again and again. The compatibility of the software (45%) was the most frequently cited concern, with many also concerned with hardware compatibility (34%) and operational interruption (32%).
That leaves 20% of the companies surveyed that had not yet begun to make the transition, although the deadline is less than four months away.
“Adding the context of the transition from Windows 11 means that PC AI is not just a new product to sell; it is an entrance door to more value services such as strategic deployment, hardening safety and integration of workflow,” explained the Dell UK channel and Ian Heath distribution leader.
Looking towards the future, it is clear that PC AIs are gaining popularity. Three out of five (62%) IT decision makers would choose a co -pilot+ PC on a regular one, according to the promises of a longer battery duration, better performance, local ia processing and integrated productivity tools.
