Without relaxing tensions in Torkham

Peshawar:

The Afghan Taliban and the Pakistani security forces dedicated themselves on Tuesday to a heavy skame at the Torkham border on the second consecutive day, leaving two dead Taliban soldiers and six injured.

People who live near the border in both Afghanistan and Pakistan began to vacate their homes due to shots from both sides. The authorities in Pakistan have also advised people who live near the border to take caution measures.

Pakistani security forces and Afghan Taliban combatants exchanged fire on Monday at Torkham’s main border crossing, after their failed conversations to reopen the crossing.
