Wix, one of the best website builders, has just announced a new artificial tool with intelligence to help developers and websites managers. It is called context protocol server of the WIX model (MCP) and allows users to generate code through AI attendees such as Claude, Cursor and Windsurf.
With the MCP server, Wix users can simply talk to an AI assistant to do things, instead of having to write code themselves. For example, users can ask the AI to add a product to the WIX store, and the AI will send the application to the WIX MCP server. Then, the tool will connect to the correct tools (for example, inventory, payment, CRM or something different), and will return with a confirmation message, a fragment of code or similar.
In a press release shared with Techradar Pro earlier this week, Wix added that no manual coding, or additional configuration is needed, and that the tool works in IDS for developers and chat interfaces for users that are not technology.
Increasing productivity through AI
