- Wix launches Harmony, fusing AI with human input for production-ready websites
- Aria AI integrates with drag and drop tools, enabling safe refinements without breaking code
- The launch will begin soon in English; pricing details remain undisclosed
Wix has taken AI-powered website creation to the next level with the introduction of Wix Harmony.
In recent months, most of the top website building companies have introduced generative artificial intelligence (AI), allowing creators to “vibrantly code” their sites. In theory, you would simply tell the chatbot what type of website you need and the AI would generate the entire site, content and all.
For Wix, there are multiple problems with that approach:
The biggest problem is that the websites are demos or lightweight MVS, rather than full-scale, production-ready websites. These sites are created in a “bubble” and as such may include bugs, security gaps, and code that cannot be scaled. The second problem is the rigidity of the designs, which makes it difficult to modify and optimize the performance of the AI.
Solving the problem with Aria
Wix says Harmony solves that problem by merging human and artificial intelligence. The core of the product is Aria, its artificial intelligence tool built on the underlying Wix architecture. After generating a website, the designer can use Wix’s standard drag-and-drop interface to make changes and optimize the site as they see fit. They can then go back to the AI to make further adjustments, as it will understand the context and changes made in the meantime.
Additionally, since Aria is based on the underlying Wix architecture, making changes in one area should not break code, add bugs, or change functionality in a different part of the site.
“Every action is applied across the entire experience, backed by the same production quality and reliability that powers millions of businesses on Wix,” the company said in a press release shared with TechRadar Pro earlier this week.
Wix Harmony will begin rolling out in English in the coming weeks, Wix said, saying it will “gradually become available” to all Wix users. Pricing details or price levels are not known at this time.

Although AI is already widely integrated into most major website builders, users often find new AI tools and the more familiar drag-and-drop tools working with each other, making it difficult to create the website they want.
Aria AI seems like a natural next step in AI integration, helping to move AI from a useful add-on to something fundamental to the website building process. By combining an AI assistant with a visual editor, Wix aims to unlock greater levels of flexibility and creativity for users.
