On Tuesday night a WNBA game was interrupted between Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries on Tuesday after a strange object was thrown into the floor at the end of the last quarter.

The Valkyries had recovered a fault with approximately a remaining minute in the game when the object flew from the stands and went down to the court. The object bounced a couple of times away from the ball controller and then towards the nearby side line.

The object seemed to be a Lima green sex toy. The transmission showed the object on the floor for a brief moment before everyone realized what it was.

“Inappropriate. Sacalos from here, whoever is,” said one of the radio stations.

The officials did not stop playing immediately once the object was launched. The sequence continued until Golden State left the limits.

A police officer approached, picked up the sex toy and took it out of the court.

Both Zandalasini and Hayes talked about the danger of playing through an object flying on the court.

“Once we discovered what it was, I guess we started laughing. I had never seen anything like that,” Zandalasini added, through SF Gate.
