The former WNBA star, Candace Parker, talked about the physicality that the Indiana fever star, Caitlin Clark, has treated compared to when she first entered the league with Los Angeles Sparks.
Clark was involved in several remains during his first year in the WNBA. The number of incidents begged the question of whether it was being attacked due to jealousy about the attention it received.

But Parker explained in the podcast “Spolitics” by Jemele Hill that the difficult game in the WNBA was “part of the game.”
“When you are a generational talent, I say it in Dianna [Taurasi]Maya [Moore]Me, Breanna Stewart, Cailtin Clark, Aja Wilson: you are going to experience physicality. The exploration report is to stop you, it is a lot to be physical, “said Parker.” Do you take a couple of additional licks from people? Yes. Was it the rookie entering and they took me different hard shots or offenses? Safely It is part of the game. “
Parker suggested that there was a greater problem with how the physicality of the WNBA was received between a new television audience.
“I think the problem is that it is an act of balance of society and the expectation of women in the face of what is necessary in sports,” he said. “And for so long they were contradictory and that women in society were supposed to be strong, but not too strong. I remember that they did not want to gain weight at the university, the cleaning of energy, because I say: ‘Oh, my shoulders in the dress look a little muscular.’

WNBA should investigate Brittney Griner’s video after probe false statements about fever fans, says the governor
“I think they are a different generation of players who are willing to assume the problems of society with women in front. As a result, I think we are now seeing social networks and more followers who want to follow women because we are very dynamic in what we can do on and off the floor.”
Clark and Angel Reese have developed a historical history among them that date back to the 2023 National Championship between Iowa and LSU.
Its history has been strongly compared to the magic of rivalry that Johnson and Larry Bird cultivated in the NBA, which helped increase the audience for the league.
But Parker was not compared.
“I think it’s comparing apples and oranges,” he said. “Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, is like what we are doing? They like to compare magic and birds, well, they played similar positions. At least they coincided.

“I am not falling into that. I am not falling in the comparison and I think there are several things that Angel can improve, will improve in the situation in which he is. And I think Caitlin Clark has done it even in her first year ….. She makes her team better.”
