It was the second night of a against behind when they left a defeat against Los Angeles Sparks.

“I think so far this season, we have had many distractions. Some injuries. I don’t know who is playing. Only many distractions. But I think that is really good for us,” he said, through the Indy star. “Let’s go through early adversity. Let’s learn from it. Good news is that we will not reach its maximum point too early, so I mean, that is positive. It is not an excuse. Everyone is playing a consequence.

“We have talked about this, we are surrounded by everyone’s schedule. Nobody liked it, right? So, all in our costumes? That is the only type of people we have to support ourselves. We have to be better in that area. We have to stay disciplined, we have to keep us focused on that.

Cunningham added that the difficult schedule was “only an excuse” and that he had to do a better job for his teammates.

Then he had five points and four assists on Friday when the fever defeated the Wings, 94-86.

The WNBA calendar has become a tension point with some players.

The New York Liberty star, Breanna Stewart, talked about the problems of a 44 games schedule earlier this month.

“We want to play the games, especially if that is what you want for television and have these sales sand,” he said. “I think the most difficult part is that whatever happens, when I was playing 36 games or 32 games, it was in the same time as 44 games.

“I know that at both ends between April and October things are happening. But I think that is one of the largest conversation points in the next CBA is, okay, how can we do it so that the teams do not play four (games) in six (days) three times in a season and continue to have rest and recovery, so we are at our best? It is difficult, it is something difficult.”
