The boos did not sit well with the Mercury Kahleah Copper star. The four-time All-Star and WNBA champion thought Bonner managed the Boos well, but she did not understand why the Jers occurred first.

“I just don’t understand. As, she is a legend. All the things she has done for the league, and just at that time, the disrespect simply, I cannot bear it. They booed her. He did not tell a word to the crowd. People told her about garbage, but we support her,” Copper said, through the Indy star.

“It is very unpleasant what is doing her fan base when it comes to DB. She is the sweetest soul. The situation did not work for her. It simply was not what she wanted or whatever, but we don’t need all that. It is unnecessary.”

Fans of fever attracted WNBA players in the League. At the beginning of the year, a fan in Indianapolis was accused of commenting on hate towards Chicago Sky players. The WNBA found no evidence of the statement.

Bonner was one of the new faces that joined the fever in the low season after five seasons with the Connecticut Sun.

She just ended up playing nine games with Indiana. She said in her release that “adjustment” was not correct.
