Indiana Fever’s star, Sophie Cunningham, suffered a knee injury on Sunday that eliminated her from the dramatic team of the team over the Connecticut Sun and her sister started the WNBA for that.
Cunningham became entangled with Alero Sun Bria Hartley in the second quarter. Hartley drove and made a pass to the distant corner. When Cunningham tried to help in defense, Hartley fell to the bottom of the fever guard body. Cunningham grabbed his leg immediately.

Lindsey Cunningham called the WNBA, claiming that officials have been inappropriately protecting the players.
“@WNBA You might concentrate less on fines for players for commenting on your poor officiating and more about the hiring of officials who can call a consistent game and protect your athletes.
Sophie’s mother, Paula, also called Hartley.
“Hartley is a discontent player who has problems wherever he goes; it is simple and plays out of control,” Paula Cunningham wrote in a publication from it in X.
The WNBA trade has been the hot topic of the season.

Sophie Cunningham drew the anger of the league twice for criticizing the officials. He received a fine of $ 500 the first time when he did it through Tiktok’s video and then received a fine of $ 1,500 for the comments he made in his podcast.
“If I were a referee, I know that I would be angry all the time. As, I do not say that your work is easy, but when it is a simple call just in front of your face several times, what are you doing? What are you doing?” Cunningham said.
“They are so inconsistent, as if that is one thing. If you are in the other team, and you are going to dirty the S — out of me, great. But let me do it … I think the players of the league and the new fans throughout the country are like, ‘What is happening with the referees?’ And I say: ‘I don’t know’.
The scope of Cunningham’s injury was not immediately clear. He received more game time when Caitlin Clark tried his own problems.
