Justice has been served for at least one person who threw a sex toy on the court during a WNBA game.

The WNBA said on Saturday that the fan who threw a neon green dildo on the court during a game between Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries on July 29 was arrested. Any other person caught throw objects on the court, said the league, will be expelled from the sand and will face a minimum one year prohibition.

“The safety and welfare of all in our sands is a priority for our league. Objects of any kind thrown to the court or in the seat area can represent a security risk for players, game officials and fans,” said the league in a statement. “In line with WNBA Arena’s security standards, any fanatic who intentionally throws an object to the Court will be immediately expelled and will face a minimum one year prohibition in addition to being subject to arrests and prosecution by local authorities.”

The incident occurred at the end of Tuesday’s fourth quarter at the Gateway Center Arena. There was a game strike while an official kicked the wandering dildo outside the court, and was eliminated by a police officer.

On Friday, there was an imitation crime when a fan threw another sex toy, which, from a distance, seemed to be the same brand and model as the first, under the basket during Friday’s game between the Valkyries and the sky of Chicago.

“It’s very disrespectful. I really don’t understand that point of that,” said Sky Elizabeth Williams center after Friday’s game. “It’s really immature. Who is doing it needs to grow.”

Other WNBA players have also intervened on social networks, including Sophie Cunningham by Indiana Fover and New York Front Liberty Isabelle Harrison.

Cunningham wrote on Friday: “Stop throwing dildos on the court … you will hurt one of us.”
