Work on the N-25 highway begins

ISLAMABAD:

Communications Minister Abdul Aleem Khan on Thursday announced that construction of a major highway linking Karachi with Quetta and Chaman, funded through excise duty on petroleum products, has formally begun.

Chairing a meeting at the NHA, the minister reviewed the pace of ongoing projects in Balochistan, including the M-8, which is crucial to improve connectivity with Gwadar port.

During the meeting, the minister was also briefed on security issues and other aspects related to NHA’s construction activities in Balochistan.
