‘Something went wrong’
Always the teacher of the underestimation, X is greeting many users (my American colleagues in particular) with error messages such as ‘something wrong’ or simply a blank screen.
Some have led (others) social media platforms such as Reddit to exclaim that this is actually an improvement for their lives. But here in the United Kingdom, X is back (at least for me) with its usual mixture of wading of Elon Musk, memes and holes generated by AI.
This last interruption has fallen short of the second today at 10 am et / 2pm GMT, but is still quite extended. There is still no official word of X about the cause of today’s bamboles, but presumably Grok is working on it …
When did this last output X start?
This is largely a global interruption of X / Twitter, with problems that rise rapidly in the United States and the United Kingdom from around 10.50 am et / 2.50pm GMT on the descending site of the site.
They have just reached a peak of 30,000 reports in the United States, which is a massive interruption. In the United Kingdom, the reports have fallen in the last hour, but they are still around the 4,700 mark.
So what is causing the problems? While there has been nothing official, some cybersecurity commentators suggest that it can be a so -called DDOS attacks (or denial of distributed service), where an internet traffic flooding overwhelms a server.
In other words, fasten, because this could last a while …
