X is down for many users right now, and hundreds are reporting that the social media site is generating error messages and not working for them.
The problems began around 8:02 am ET / 1:02 pm GMT, when a huge spike in reports appeared on Downdetector in the US and UK. At the time of writing, those reports number more than 11,000 in the US and more than 3,300 in the UK.
