Pakistan has partially raised the restrictions on the X Social Network Platform, previously known as Twitter, restoring access for some users without the need for VPN or Proxy services.
Many users in X reported that their accounts were accessible without the use of VPN or proxy services.
The decision marks the end of the months of curbs imposed by the State that began shortly after the general elections in February 2024. Since then, millions of Pakistani have had to depend on third -party tools to access the microblogging site.
The movement occurs at a time of high military tensions with the Indian neighbor.
Previously, the General Director of Public Relations between Services (DG ISPR), the General, Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, confirmed that the Indian forces made air attacks in six locations within Pakistan, attacking Kotli, Bahawalpur, Muzaffrabad, Bagh and Mueridke.
Speaking during a media conference on Wednesday, he shared that eight civilians were martyred while 33 suffered wounds. Pakistan’s armed forces delivered a strong and coordinated response to Indian air attacks, DG ISPR confirmed.
Pakistan knocked down five enemy planes in the retail sale to the attack of India, according to security sources. The plane was attacked after hitting the Pakistani territory using the Indian airspace, the sources added.
