Islamabad:
The ‘X’ social networks, previously known as Twitter, is experiencing an interruption of large -scale service, which affects users in Pakistan and several other countries.
The sudden interruption occurred around 6 pm today, leaving thousands of users who cannot access their feeds or send messages.
According to the monitoring site of the interruption monitoring site, more than 2,300 users reported problems in the peak of the fault. The platform was briefly reduced both desk and mobile devices, which caused frustration on the Internet.
Global Internet monitoring organization networks also confirmed that interruption is international scope and is not related to any blockage or filtering of Internet services at the country level.
Users of the platform faced multiple problems, including the problems to log in and delays in receiving direct messages. Although the services gradually resume, the company has not yet issued an official statement that explains the cause. In addition, many users reported having found broken links during interruption.
The Pakistan telecommunications regulator also confirmed the interruption on Saturday, saying that the popular social media platform is experiencing an interruption of large -scale service in Pakistan.
According to the Telecommunications Authority of Pakistan (PTA), this interruption that occurred after a global problem is being experienced in several other countries.
‘X’ had also faced service interruptions on Thursday (May 22), which lasted several hours before the platform restored it alone.

PTA also clarified that research did not reveal technical problems with Pakistan Internet gates, and that all other Internet services throughout the country normally work.
PTA added that the situation is continuously monitoring and will provide the public for updates as they are available.
