- It is fully compatible with the Xbox adaptive controller and other Xbox devices

Microsoft has officially launched the Xbox adaptive joystick, which can now be bought exclusively in Microsoft Store.
Available for $ 29.99 / £ 24.99, the Xbox adaptive joystick is an Xbox wiring accessory that connects through USB-C to other Xbox devices, such as an Xbox X X or SERIES X or SERIES XBOX console or Xbox wireless controller. It is also compatible, and perhaps better used, with the Xbox adaptive controller.
Xbox’s adaptive joystick is quite elegant and simple in design. Its flat upper part has a single analog stick that can be pushed in a similar way to those of the Xbox wireless controller. The front of the Joystick houses a bumper and a trigger style button, while four face buttons rest on the top of the device.
Players can completely customize their buttons design in the Xbox adaptive joystick. They can also create and exchange between multiple buttons profiles through the Xbox Accessory application that is available both in console and PC.
It also seems that the Xbox adaptive controller will also be a configuration without complications. As Windows device, it will work without problems with the Xbox series and Windows PCs without required updates.
Microsoft’s accessibility impulse in Xbox has been quite impressive, with dedicated controllers available to meet the needs of disabled players. Sony has also thrown its accessibility hat with the PlayStation access controller, which our own managing editor, Rob Dwiar, granted four of five stars in his review.
