Edwards then threw the ball first for the double game that ends at the entrance.

“What was thinking Chisholm?” The Yankees man, the man of play per game, Michael Kay asked.

The color commentator Paul O’Neill remained in a state of shock, saying: “What’s happening?”
Boone and First Base Coach Travis Chapman also had an animated conversation on the bench.
Chishlom later said that nothing would have changed, and added that he was trying to be aggressive in the Basepaths by forcing Edwards to possibly make a mistake.
“I was just trying to be aggressive, already playing with intermediate picture players,” he said, through athletics. “I saw something that I thought they were going to do. He fired him as if he were going to do it. He didn’t do it. Still trying to be aggressive because I played here before. I know how the field plays. Sometimes you become aggressive and catch you and go out.”
Boone said he didn’t think about taking Chisholm out of the game.
