Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has been a thorn in the side of the New York Yankees since day one, but in the postseason he took his performance to several levels.
The Toronto Blue Jays slugger hit .529 in their American League Division Series victory over their AL East rival, taking his elite play to a new level.
However, as the Yankees were on the brink of elimination on Wednesday, a fan was caught on video throwing a can at a group of people, at least two of whom were wearing Guerrero’s jersey.

The group can be seen shouting at a fan in the rows behind them before a can goes flying into the shot. Several people then went upstairs, but order seemed to be restored before things got really bad.
According to Héctor Gómez, a long-time Latino baseball writer, the group at which the can was thrown included members of Guerrero’s family.
