Yankees opening day: fans disturbed the national anthem singer

New York Yankees fans seemed to have a difficult day at the baseball stadium, and began before the first release and continued until the ninth entrance when the team tried to close a victory over the Milwaukee brewers during the inauguration game on Thursday.

Betsy Wolfe, a Broadway actress and singer, was used to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” before the game began.

But Wolfe’s interpretation seemed to lift his eyebrows for the wrong reasons, since fans rushed to point out that California’s native was reading the letter of his phone.

The “Julieta” star faced a violent reaction on social networks for taking out his phone outside, with at least one fan that implored the Yankees in X to “do better.” But others were impressed with their voice in general.

The hearts of the Yankees fans ran early when the Austin Wells receiver connected a solitary home run to climb the board. It became the first receiver in the history of MLB to reach an initial homer on the opening day.

Even so, New York had difficulty closing the gate of the brewers.

The new Yankees closer, Devin Williams, allowed a single by Joey Ortiz and a double by Isaac Collins to begin the top of the ninth entrance. Then he allowed a race to score, but could hit Jackson Chourio and Christian Yelich to finish the game.

New York won, 4-2.
