There’s a new name in the high-end headphone market: Dark Matter Audio Labs, or DMA Labs for short. And if your first four in-ear monitors sound as good as they look, they could be pretty spectacular.
The company sounds a bit like an audio A-team, a group of “multiple brands of custom in-ear monitors” industry veterans with many years of audio engineering and live music touring experience under their belts. And the promise here is “superior fit and exceptional sound signatures.”
DMA Labs IEMs: Key Features and Pricing
There are four models with a price range between $599 and $1,699. And they are certainly surprising. The four models are:

- Custom Triple Driver DMA3 IEM with 3 Balanced Armature Drivers – $899
- Custom Six-Driver DMA6 IEM with 6 Balanced Armature Drivers – $1499

We don’t have more detailed specifications for details such as frequency response and sensitivity, but we expect it to be available in a few days when the IEMs are officially launched and the official website is available.
They seem like strong competitors to the more upscale models on our list of the best wired headphones based on looks alone – who doesn’t want something that looks like a nebula in their ears?
