- A reliable source claims that the Samsung Galaxy triple will probably only launch in several Asian regions.
- This is in slight contrast to a previous leak, which suggested it “might” see a wider release.
- Since it will probably be an expensive and imperfect phone, it may not be a great purchase anyway.
One of the biggest questions surrounding the upcoming Samsung Galaxy triple is where it will actually be available and therefore whether you will be able to buy it, and now we have new information on that.
According to Evan Blass, a leaker with an excellent track record, the Samsung Galaxy triple (or Samsung Galaxy TriFold, as a leak suggests it will be called) will likely only be sold in South Korea, China, Taiwan, Singapore, and possibly the United Arab Emirates.
They don’t seem 100% sure about this, but say it’s “very unlikely” that the Samsung Galaxy triple will be sold outside of these regions. That said, there is still some hope, as a previous leak suggested that Countries like the United States and the United Kingdom “could” see a launch.
Unfortunately for foldable enthusiasts, and despite recent rumors to the contrary, I think it is highly unlikely that Samsung will launch its first triptych beyond Korea, the large Chinese market (including Singapore and Taiwan), and possibly the United Arab Emirates. Although I would love to be wrong.October 26, 2025
We’re not optimistic, though, as apart from Blass often being right about phone-related things, the Samsung Galaxy triple doesn’t seem like a great mass-market proposition. It’s a brand new phone form factor (at least in Western markets), so Samsung won’t know yet if there’s much demand for it, and given the likely very high price, there probably won’t be much demand.
As such, it would make sense for the company to give it a fairly limited release and, if it does well enough, perhaps follow it up with a new model a year later that is distributed more widely.
Better to wait
If you were hoping to be able to buy the Samsung Galaxy triple, this might be disappointing, but as Blass notes in another post that having limited availability could be a blessing in disguise, since, like the original Samsung Galaxy Fold, it could be an imperfect and unpolished product.
Therefore, it is most likely best to wait for the second generation of the device, where Samsung will have received user feedback and probably made some significant improvements.
Of course, there’s no guarantee that there will ever be a second-generation model, or that such a device will be released more widely than the initial Samsung Galaxy triple; all of that will probably depend on the performance of this first model.
And since we can’t completely rule out this first model going global, it’s still worth keeping an eye on the launch, which according to leaks will happen on October 31 or November 1, so we could be just a few days away from seeing it.
