Have you noticed that your Fitbit is registering that you are awake more during the night, with your graphic now showing more awake events than previously? It turns out that this is not a mistake that persists in the recent important interruption; It is an expected side effect of a recent update.
That is according to a note that Fitbit shared with his community explaining that “his follow -up of the dream became more precise.” Noting that this is only the first of a “series of next improvements” for sleeping.
Specifically, this first update implies some adjustments on how your Fitbit tracks your dream to make it more accurate. This is perhaps the reason why their awake time and their number of awake events have increased as it is briefly awaken throughout the night (even if you do not realize), but the old system did not correctly trace all these instances.
The result is that your Fitbit should with greater precision the rest of your night to give you a better measure of the recovery of your body.
The only thing that is not clear is what Fitbits will admit this new follow -up of the sleep, but we hope that at least it includes the fitbit charge 6, Inspire 3, Sense 2 and Versa 4, since these are the four models that Google still sells.
Some older models can also be included, but Fitbit has not clarified which.
However, if more improvements are planned, they could be detailed in the next event held by Google, which will happen on August 20 at 10 AM PT / 1PM ET / 6PM BST / 3AM AEST.
While Google promises that the event will focus on “the latest additions to our portfolio of pixel devices,” Fitbit could be included in that, even if it is only as part of a broader pixel clock discussion.
Whatever happens, you may be sure we will be ready to cover it.
